The SlabTECK product system is centered around the value-engineered co-extruded TECKFilm vapor retarder membranes designed to provide the perfect mix of toughness, permeance, and installability. No material or money is wasted on unecessary product attributes. We desinged our vapor retarders based on building envolope science, just as the standards ASTM E1643 and E1745 specify.

The system is seamed, sealed, attached, secured, and booted with a combination SlabTECK accessories: TECKTape, TECK2BND, and TECKSeal in accordance with ASTM E1643.

​TECKTape is an advanced water-based, acrylic that has been chemistry-matched to bond with TECKFilm in all conditions and climates ensuring a proper seal, integrus seams, well-booted penetrations, and an overall ASTM E1643-compliant installation.

TECKSeal is a 100% solids adhesive sealant chemistry-matched to bond to TECKFilm in all conditions and climates. TECKSeal is designed to bond and create tight seals betweem LSE plastics and  concrete, PVC pipes, and other building components. The use of TECKSeal is essential to an ASTM E1643-compliant installation.

TECK2BND reversible tape is chemistry-matched with TECKFilm to create a superior bond between TECKFilm and concrete. Uniquely, it can be intialy bonded to existing concrete and later to the membrane OR it can initally be bonded to the plastic membrane and later to cure and bond to the concrete placed on top of it. It is the only product designed to create the required ASTM E1643 edge seal in any and all scenarios for example:

• Bonding plastic membranes to existing stem walls and footings

• Bonding plastic membranes to thickened edge slabs and other monolithic footings placed directly on top of the membrane.
